Usage

Bimetallic lug are mostly used for transition connection of aluminum cable that has to be terminated by a copper busbar or copper  contact in low voltage. 

Feature

Barrels are supplied capped and filled with jointing compound to avoid oxidation of the aluminum conductor.

The transition section between aluminum and copper is produced through riveting methods.

Coated with plastic resin at the cylindrical copper

Clear markings on barrel to indicate correct crimping location.

Material: 99.9% purity copper & 99.5% purity aluminum.

Surface treatment: Acid cleaning.
